DataCare is a WiFi/3G/4G data usage monitor to help you know current 3G/4G data usage to prevent from exceeding data plan. It collects data usage from iOS without connecting to wireless service provider, and it works for all wireless service providers, such as AT&T, T-Mobile, O2, Vodafone, NTT DoCoMo, Telstra, etc.

DataCare provides many features as following:

1. Data usage chart: You can analysis data usage in different view: daily, weekly, period (period data plans).

2. Geolocation data usage: Recording data usage and geolocation data to help you review data usage in map. DataCare will apply background location tracing, in default, you can turn-off it in *Settings*.

3. Multiple data plans: You can create many data plans while keeping original data plans. For example, setup new data plans for your vacation.

4. Usage prediction: According to current data usage, it calculates the possibility of exceeding data plan. You could arrange the daily wireless data usage carefully before the next billing cycle.

5. Account management: a simple account management tool to store your WiFi account and password.

DataCare will track your location in background, it dramatically decreases your battery life, you can turn-off/(on) this functionality with *Settings* => *Trace location in background*.

*Continued use of GPS running in the background could dramatically decrease battery life.

This app help lets me know how much data I use. I seem to push my 1.5 gigs to the limit every month. So thanks!

I needed a way to measure my data used on the internet because cable company put data caps on my service. This app gives you daily totals which allows you to know where you are at any time if you want to stream a lot of movies and not go over . Love this app.

Some bad moments

Not mentioning in-app-purchases in iTunes - in the app there is ad-removal offered! Tracking the location is a basic feature. No idea what that function is needed for measuring up/downloads. Seem to be spying on the users profile and sending it to someone unknown. Maybe more an app for ads than a utility.

So far this app is the bomb!its precise in showing how much data your using in wifi cellular . Its a keeper and I highly recommend it.

Although, I have no way to tell how accurate this app is it measures your wifi and cell data use and presents the results in a concise, readable summary.

I love being able to easily track my data usage with this app. Works like a charm.

I wanted a tool to see detail in my data usage. DataCare gives me monthly, daily and hourly graphs realtime, which shows where the high (and low) usage occurs. Using this data, Ive learned how to do everything I want to do and stay under my 1 Gb limit.
